Media firm, Wonderful Media has ranked Frontline gubernatorial aspirant and immediate past member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. (Barr. ) Deacon Sergius Ose Ogun as current aspirant on Facebook and Whatsapp topping the list of most prepared and preferred aspirants vying for the 2024 governorship election in Edo state.
Wonderful Media can authoritatively report that the Ugboha born politician and former lawmaker scored 1600 points to become the most prepared and preferred aspirant for the governorship election going by his achievements as a federal lawmaker and philanthropist, who represented Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, from 2015-2023.
In a recent survey on social media, by Wonderful Media, following posts on Facebook and Whatsapp about Hon. Sergius Ogun, which includes his personality, activities, events and good gesture, puts him in front on the list of most talked about with several engagements, and comments, all these points to the fact that he has a good track record and position him as the most prepared aspirant for the seat which is widely said to favour Edo Central.
Other aspirants from the Edo Central said to be vying for the seat includes; Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon, who had also announced his intention, Hon. John Yakubu, Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea, Dorry Efosa Okojie Prof. Sen. A O Osunbor (SAN), Victor Otaigbe Eboigbe amongst others. While the social media are also talking little about some acclaimed aspirants, responses about the registered aspirants where Hon. Sergius Ogun stands tall, has the highest count with comments talking good of him among political groups on the two social media apps. The apparatus used in ranking the aspirants borders on most liked, loved, talked about and commendable.
The count interpretes that Ogun scored 1600 points in total after scoring 650 points as most Liked, 500 as most Loved, 350 points as most talked about and 100 points as most commendable. Areas where he had highest positive engagement on his Achievements are, People friendly Motions, Proposed laws moved, Infrastructural development on Education, Health, Roads, Agriculture, Pipe borne water, he also had some thumps up on empowerment and skill acquisition.
He is closely followed by Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon, who scored 650 points, scoring 250 points as most Liked, 200 as most Loved, 150 points as most talked about and 50 points as most commendable.
Other aspirants on the survey puts Dorry Efosa Okojie on the third position with 550 points, scoring 250 points as most Liked, 100 as most Loved, 100 points as most talked about and 100 points as most commendable. Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea, followed with 500 points in total after scoring 200 points as most Liked, 150 as most Loved, 100 points as most talked about and 50 points as most commendable.
